Hofatex Primus

This basic penetration paint for soft wood-fibre boards assures perfect adhesion. It consists of modified vinyl-benzene-butadiene copolymers, mineral filling and water. It does not contain any dissolvents. It assures effective hardening of the glued area on wood-fibre boards.

Usage:

• The parts to be glued need to be cleared of dirt, dust, smearing and oil.
• Before placing the Hofatex ABK/PE tape, the coating must be left to dry.
• The tape is to be affixed freely, while carefully pressed onto the surface.
• When covering the interfaces between Hofafest UD and other materials (wood, plastic, brick, metal, etc.), the board needs to be painted by penetration coating.

Storage, manipulation and installation (application)

• Store in dry place at temperature from + 5 ̊C to + 25 ̊C.
• The container must be firmly closed
• The work tools can be cleared of coating in clean water.
• Apply evenly with flat brush.
• The preparation and diluting of the coating does not require any special measures, because it does not contain harmful substances. It does not contain volatile dissolvents which could cause a concentration of harmful substances during processing or applying. Therefore, there is no danger of exceeding the permitted limits of harmful substances' presence in the work area. The principles and obligations related to working with hazardous materials need to be followed, however. The safety measures for working with chemicals are to be pursued.
