Hofatex® Kombi
A new dual-profile and lighter, compression-strength board, Hofatex® TopTherm and Hofatex® UD combination panels are for simpler insulation of roofs and enclosure walls. They are especially suited for increasing the thermal insulation and soundproofing of older buildings.

Use:
- Additional thermal insulation in reconstructed and newly-constructed buildings
- Insulation of sloping roofs above the rafters
- Insulation of solid enclosure walls - below ventilated facades
- External sheathing of wooden frame-constructed buildings
- Use in accordance with DIN V 4108/10:2002: DAD, DAA, WAB, WAP, WH

Storage, handling and laying:
- Store panels in a dry area and lay them down dry
- Protect the edges against damage
- Lay panels with the tongues facing upwards and join them as tightly as possible
- To fasten panels to solid walls, use a combination of glue and insulation anchors; for wood sandwich (framework)-constructed buildings, they can be fastened with staples
- Do not run the panels outside of the rafter beam area
- After laying the panels, lath and contra-lath them as soon as possible
