About the Company

Smrečina Hofatex is a traditional producer of wood-fibre-based insulation. For more than half a century, it has been one of the largest European producers manufacturing wood-fibre insulation boards using the "wet process".

Hofatex insulation boards are manufactured from natural raw materials without the use of any adhesives. Its properties meet all the criteria for ecologically sound construction materials and are a full-value substitute for ordinary insulation materials such as rock-wool and polystyrene.
