Hofatex® UD

Tongue-and-groove panels open for diffusion, which can be used as a layer to reinforce the main insulation - under the roof or as the external layer in the wood-framing of enclosure walls. It has enhanced water resistance.

λD= 0,049 W/(m.K)
Thickness: 22, 35, 52 ,60, 80, 100 mm
Dimensions: 580x2500 mm

Use:

  • External insulation layer
  • Panels under the roof - secures hydro-insulation in pent roofs
  • Temporary roof-decking for a maximum of 3 months
  • External sheathing of framework and stonework-constructed enclosure walls
  • Use in accordance with DIN V 4108/10:2002: DAD, DAA, WAB, WAP, WH

Storage, handling and laying:

  • Store panels in a dry area and lay them down dry
  • Protect the edges against damage
  • Lay panels with the tongues facing upwards
  • Where the roof has an angle of less than 20°, glue the seams of the boards together
  • For each type of thickness, keep the boards the following maximum distance away from the beams:
  • 22 mm – 85 cm
  • 35 mm – 95 cm
  • 52 mm – 100 cm
  • 60 mm – 105 cm
  • 80 mm - 110 cm
  • 100 mm – 115 cm
  • Keep the panels away from the rafter beams
  • After laying the panels, lath and contra-lath them as soon as possible
